Halloween is just around the corner. I havent plan anyhting yet for this year's Halloween. Friends been asking me whats the plan for this year. You see,every year since i've been in dubai,my place will always be the port for the kids to do their trick or treat. Kids will go around the neighbourhood for their treats,we parents will wait at home to trick the kids who passes by our house.
Halloween is fun for everyone. It is the time when you get to dressed up as whoever the character you wanna be. Last year was really fun,mostly because my other half was at home. If i remember correctly,he was only at home twice during the halloween. So all of us really dressed up-my other half as a Dracula,me as Witch,Iskandar as a Walking skeleton,Balqis as a Zombie Girl and Aisyah as a Supergirl.
For this year's halloween,my other half will be flying to Hong Kong. I haven't decide what i want to be yet,so does my kids. As for the two big ones,i think they had enough of halloween,or maybe they still want to dressed up and go trick or treating? I'm sure Aisyah would want to dressed up. Maybe she will be a kid being kidnapped by an alien...hmmm dats a thought.:)
Every year my kids will come home with a bag full of candies that can last them for the whole year. Its a routine that after a few rounds of treat or treating,the kids will gather in the house,count who gets the most candy of all and after the counting is done,they will have a feast with the treats they've got. The house will be messy with the candy wrapper everywhere. And once they've gone to bed,i WILL hide all the leftover candies.bwahahahahaha.....(evil laugh)
Halloween is a new festive that my kids got to know once we landed here. We dont do this halloween thingy back home in Malaysia. And it is always a date they mark in their calendar,October 31st. A date to be spoilt with candy and candy and lots more candy...:)
